100 Rivers: Signals of Repair – The Acreage

Inaugural installation of the hundred semaphore flags created for 100 Rivers: Signals of Repair, sited at The Acreage — the primary charitable asset of the Horst Rechelbacher Foundation. Founded in 2016, The Acreage is a non-profit organization committed to supporting regional and national conservation efforts, environmental education, and the arts. A House Unbuilt is grateful for the opportunity to explore the prairie landscape at The Acreage, and work with land manager and drone operator Ben Brown to install and document the 100 flags across its landscape on an early April morning.
