Preparations /or/ the Hostess

Presented as part of the Dance Film Slam at Dance Films Kino, Preparations /or/ the Hostess was one of a series of experimental videos created by Victoria Bradford early in her time in the Chicago dance community. Exploring the use of animated choreography and sound effects as well as movement driven by spatial constraints and the use of objects and costume elements—these external artifacts drive the story being told in lieu of a predetermined context.
