Curatorial Incubator
A platform for emerging and mid-career curators to experiment, collaborate, and grow.
The Curatorial Incubator invites curators, artists, thinkers, and organizers to develop exhibitions or public engagements in the Art & Water Space that foreground environmental imagination, interdisciplinary dialogue, and community connection. Incubator participants receive exhibition support, administrative coordination, and opportunities for conversation with A House Unbuilt’s Artistic Director while shaping a project from concept to public experience.
Exhibitions often include public engagements—such as talks, workshops, or participatory components—that encourage audiences to explore how art can deepen their relationship to water, land, and place. The program supports curators exploring ecological frameworks, embodied methods, choreographic thinking, archival approaches, or community-engaged practices.
