Skirts (LIVE)

Skirts (LIVE) is the second phase of a movement research project begun by Victoria Eleanor Bradford and Jessica Cornish. After producing a series of research-driven performances for camera at various sites around Chicago, Cornish traveled to Lake Charles, Louisiana to be in residence with Bradford for two months. The two artists collaboratively workshopped duet movements pulled from the video archive, also working with cellist Lia Kohl on a sound score. This residency culminated in two work-in-progress showings of the newly devised piece including multimedia and live performance.
