I feel torn between the push to keep going, keep moving, keep doing, a certain level of activity that frees me of feeling — weighted down… or does it just free me of all feeling?
I feel the insistence of stillness,
of time for things to stop,
for me to acknowledge the weight of things—but it’s not just the weight, it,
it overwhelms,
it threatens to stopper any future movement,
it paralyzes.
